1. You are wearing a size 4 diaper, but only because I have to change your size 3 diaper 100X more than size 4.
2. You LOVE to drink ice water, but you really LOVE juice. I don't give you juice often because if I do you fill up on it and won't eat a meal.
3. You are crazy about cookies & anything sweet. You will eat them until you are sick!
4. You have become quite a picky eater lately. You will still eat all meats. You love cheeses & pastas. You go back and forth with the kinds of fruit you like. You love grapes & strawberries. Goldfish seem to be a staple at the house, unfortunately! You are crazy about corn on the COBB...as you should be! :)
5. You are very strong willed, and you'll try to do anything to get your way.
6. You are constantly on the GO, and you won't sit still for a minute. I sometimes watch parents who have kids that just sit in their laps...and I think...wow. I can't imagine what that would be like.
7. You wake up between 6-7 every morning, and as soon as your eyes open, you want to hit the ground running!!
8. You are still drinking chocolate milk (carnation instant breakfast). Chocolate milk is better than no milk at all, right?!
9. For breakfast, you like to eat homemade bran muffins or eggs with cheese and fruit. I have even been able to get you to watch Micky Mouse Clubhouse while you eat breakfast. Mommy does the dishes and cleans the kitchen while you eat.
10. You are the second greatest earthly gift. The first is your father.
11. When you smile, it melts my heart. Sometimes you smile and really ham it up, especially when you know you've done something wrong. I'm reading the book Don't Make Me Count to Three...so I hope you don't think these smiles are going to work to get you out of trouble, missy!
12. Baby dolls are your new love! I bought you a new one at Target today, and you played with it ALL afternoon. It amazes me how I do not have to teach you how to "mother." You rock your baby, and love your baby, and kiss your baby, and feed your baby. How do you learn these things??
13. The second daddy comes home from work...you get the BIGGEST smile on your face! I think this is your favorite time of the day!!
14. We've ALMOST gotten rid of the paci. You still take it for naps, and I'm not sure how to give this one up. I'm scared you won't go to sleep!
15. Unfortunately, you have become a biter. You bite other kids, and you get in trouble for it at school. You will also bite yourself so hard that you leave marks for the entire day. I have tried everything!! Any suggestions here would be appreciated (I'm willing to bet that I've tried everything!). I'm thinking that you will have to grow out of it. I'm hoping that by the time you graduate from high school you won't still be biting your friends. ;)
16. You are SO smart. You like to figure things out. You have almost figured out how to get yourself out of your car seat. This makes me VERY nervous!
17. When you get really excited, you start to run in place. :)
18. You love to hear mommy & daddy sing.
19. You are learning your catechisms, and you said "God" for the first time today! This over joys my heart to no end!
20. You also love to read. You'll even come bring me a book and sit in my lap for a few seconds!
21. If you want to know what something is, you'll say "this" or "that."
22. You love to play outside, and I can't wait for cooler weather so we can do more of it!
23. You're crazy about animals! If we pass a cow, in a pasture, on the road, you'll moooo like a cow! You're so smart, Hadley!!
24. I love you so much, and I thank the Lord for your life every day. I pray that the Lord will continue to mold me into a godly mother and to grow you into a godly woman...For HIS glory!!
I think Hadley is getting SO big....
She smiles all of the time!
I remember when she was just a little tiny munchkin in this BIG chair...
I haven't seen her sleep like this in a Looooooong time. She was SO tired!
This is at grandmommy's house. You can't see them, but she is reaching for a tea cup. A big No, No!! (doesn't she look like she's trying to be innocent?)
When Grandmommy was in Spain, we would go to her house and play. Hadley found these beads while she was gone, and she had SO much fun playing with them. She would practice taking them on & off...on & off! Who would have thought that this would be such a fun toy?

Feeding her baby...
