Happy Birthday to You! And, Many More!!!

Well, as you all can see, I'm just now getting around to blogging about Hadley's birthday. I'm talking about the day that she actually turned one. I'll blog about her party on another day. If you want to read my crazy birth story, then you can find it here.

Hadley's birthday was on a Friday this year. She woke up just like this...all smiley & happy! :) And, yes, I do keep a bow in her hair because her bangs are so long they get in her face.


For her birthday breakfast, she ate pancakes for the very first time. And, she loved them!!! Daddy went into work late, so he was able to join in the breakfast fun! :)

Afterwards, we went to the zoo, and we met a bunch of friends!




We played at the park....



Hadley played in the dirt...in her smocked outfit. :) Gotta love my girl!



And this thing, I don't think she was too sure about!


And, she certainly didn't want to be held! I think this is one of the few pictures I have with her that day! :( Oh well!


She played so hard, and she was getting sooo sleepy. Hadley sucks her paci & rubs the tag on her lovie (or sometimes we call it "bunny") when she gets really tired.



And, then...on the way home, she was O-U-T!! It was a fun & exhausting morning!!
After nap time, we headed to grandmommy's house to play for the afternoon! We all had dinner together & then Hadley had a birthday cupcake in preparation for the next day...Party Day!



All of my pictures of the night did NOT turn out well! I was so disappointed. BTW...I'm still looking for someone to give me some photography tips!!
But, the good news is that my mom took some really great pictures. I just have to get them off of my camera.

To My Precious Hadley,
You are the second best gift that the Lord has given me. My life changed forever when I met your amazing father. I never knew how the Lord would change my life when he gave you to me!! I praise the Lord for drawing me closer to him as he molds me into a godly mother & wife. My deepest prayer is that you will give your life to the Lord, and that your life would bring glory & honor to HIM!!
