Randomness....

I feel like I never blog about just day to day stuff or just my random thoughts or my random days. I think it will be fun for me to look back and read and remember this stuff one day.

Yesterday, I was feeling super stir crazy, and I just had to get out of the house. Hadley & I packed up went shopping. First stop...Old Navy. I needed to find a shirt for something coming up. I wondered how Hadley would do with me trying on a million things, but she really did great. I guess she likes Old Navy too. :) Then, we went next door to Michaels. I was looking for some odds & ends for Hadley's birthday party coming up. I can't believe it's only 5 weeks away! Seriously?! Where does the time go?!
I've never been to that new store JoAnns on that little strip of stores, so I decided to check it out. I'm DYING to learn how to sew!! I really want a sewing/embroidery combo machine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get one for my birthday!! (hint hint) One of my best friends just got a machine yesterday, so I'm looking forward to learning lots from her!

We jumped in the car and made a quick stop into Namedropper...my FAVORITE!! I don't know if any of y'all know but I used to work for The Children's Shop when I was in college. I absolutely loved it, and it was then that my obsession for children's clothes began. I even bought stuff when it was on sale & tucked it away for my children one day. So far, amazingly enough, Hadley has been able to wear all of the girl things I bought. I just think it's insane that I picked the right sizes for the season back then!
Anyway, I've decided it's time to upgrade Hadley's bow size (see the picture above). I still like the little tiny ones, but she has so much hair & I just really don't know what to do with it. My mom suggested taking her to have it trimmed, but for some reason, I just don't want to cut her hair yet. Maybe it's because it makes me feel like she's growing up too quickly or something.

After Namedropper, we came home to get some lunch and play for a while. Doesn't Hadley's face look like a big girl in this picture? I feel like she's loosing a lot of her "baby" face. Now, don't get me wrong...I know she's still a baby, but I can just totally tell how her face is changing!!

AND...I love this little face!! So cute! Hadley absolutely LOVES LOVES LOVES to play peek-a-boo and hide and go seek. Sometimes we chase each other all over the house. I honestly never thought I would have that much fun playing games like this, but I do!!
I really wish that I knew more about photography. In the picture above, I know it's kinda bright. I love my camera. It's certainly not the most expensive camera out there, but I know it can & does take good quality pictures. Can anyone give me some tips? I've tried with & without flashes, but it just never seems to come out just right. There are so many settings on my camera & it gets a little overwhelming. I don't know what all that stuff means! ;)

Finally, our last stop after lunch was to Wal-Mart. A sweet friend of mine
http://houseofmack.blogspot.com/ (how do you list a name on blogger & make it a link...y'all know what I'm talking about?) told me about these great treats!! Hadley is so sick & tired of puffs, and I've been looking for a healthy snack for her. When I got them out of the box, I thought, oh boy, these are going to make a HUGE mess (the box actually says that they don't create a mess, but I just thought, yeah right!). But, they don't! They really don't crumble all over the place, and I think they're fabulous, so thanks for the tip, Angie!! :)

So...that's what we've been up to lately. What have y'all been up to?? :)

AND...one more thing...thank you to everyone who left comments, sent e-mails, called, and sent facebook messages about my previous post. You have no idea how much they put my mind at ease! :) Thank you a million times over! :)

I just love your blog! I can always count on you to post regularly too and I love that! Hadley does look like a little girl in that picture you mentioned! Isn't it funny how they do that and you catch that moment?? Try the flower setting on your camera when you want a close up of her face or to focus on something in particular. That is too funny that you stored clothes away. I remember buying a pair of crown booties when we were first married just in case I ever had a little girl and I've never put them on Syd's feet! I am like you--I just can't cut her hair yet either. Jason really thinks she needs a trim, but I think I'd like for her bangs to grow out, so I just keep dealing with them being in her face in the meantime. I hope y'all have a great weekend. Those mum-mums are pretty good--have you tried one yourself? :)

I love hearing about peoples random days!! I am a huge fan of big bows (as I'm sure you can tell) so I just love Hadley's new bow! Super cute! :) Also, we love baby Mum Mums at our house too. I give them to MA a lot in her car seat to keep her happy on long car rides. It looks like Hadley is feeling a lot better. I'll be praying for her surgery. Once she has those tubes and is infection free you are going to feel like a new woman!! :)

Bonnie!
I just have to tell you that I think Hadley is just one of the most beautiful girls I have seen. I promise I am not just saying that. Her eyes are gorgeous!!! You and Jeremy are so blessed! As is Hadley to have you as a mom!!!

We upgraded to bigger bows too!! You should look on eBay. There are tons. You will have to search to find good ones though. Lots of them are what I call "helicopter bows". You know those flat ones! To make a link of someone's name or a word type the word in your post, then highlight the word and then click the chain(hyperlink) button. I hope that makes sense. And your welcome! I am glad Hadley likes them!
