--you are a busy, busy bee, and you don't like to sit still! You are constantly on the go! At night, when you get really, really sleepy, it seems like you play harder and move even faster to try to stay awake.
--We've given you your paci back. There have been too many changes in your little life recently, and the paci is your comfort...along with "bunny" of course!
--you can walk up and down the stairs...sometimes all by yourself (depending on how steep they are). Your legs are SO strong, and you love to climb on everything!
--Sporks...cross between a spoon & a fork...you can feed yourself really well with these! If we try to give you assistance, you will get really mad at us because you want to do it on your own.
--PICKY...this has been you at meal times. One day you'll like something, but the next day you'll hate it. Mommy can't seem to figure you out!
--Words...lots and lots of words. For a long time I was concerned that all of your ear problems may have affected your speech. NOPE! You say all kinds of things these days, and I believe that you understand every word we say...So don't act like or pretend that you don't, okay sweet girl??
--You can say your name! And, you can say grandmommy! :)
--OUTSIDE. You love it! But, you're scared of bugs...just like your mommy used to be...living out here in the sticks has kinda calmed my fear of bugs, so maybe one day you'll get used to them, too.
--OBSESSION with ANYTHING to do with Babies!! The other day we were eating dinner, and I happened to have a box of wipes on the table. All you said was "baby, baby, baby, baby." Over.and over.and over. Until, I figured out that there was a picture of a baby on the wipes box. Once I acknowledged it, you were fine.
--You will play with your babies for hours. Okay, not hours, but a really long time! Nothing else will keep you entertained for this length of time.
--you are already wearing a 24m or a 2t. I can't believe how quickly you are growing!
--Potty Training?? Maybe soon. When you're wet or have a dirty diaper, sometimes you'll bring me a diaper and ask me to change you. You've been doing this for a couple of months now (maybe since June??). I've read that most children your age have a hard time controlling the physical urges of the potty training, even if mentally they want to use the potty. I think I might wait a few months on this, but we still get your potty out and talk about it all the time. You are VERY interested in it.
--Helper! You LOVE to help me. You get so excited when you get to help throw your diapers away or help me make the bed. You "clean" alongside of me all the time. I certainly hope this trend continues!!
--TEETH--You LOVE LOVE LOVE to brush them. I'm talking about obsession here people! You've even gotten into my toothbrush container once and brushed your teeth with MY toothbrush.
--You love to blow kisses and wave to everyone! And, if they don't say "hi" or wave back you get very upset!
--You seem like such a big girl to me!! You're growing up so fast, sweet Hadley! I love you!
