LOTS of inches!!!

I took Hadley for her 15 month check up last week, and she has grown!!! But, I didn't really need the doc to tell me that because she's outgrown almost all of her clothes! Here are her stats from her 15 month check up:

Weight--25.2 pounds (80th percentile)
Height--33 inches (top 5 percentile!! TALL girl!)
Head Circumference--18.75 inches (90th percentile)

I just look at her stats from birth to now, and I'm amazed! That's a lot of growing! The doc said that she is the size of an 18 month old. I'm not sure what size clothes I should buy her for fall! Good thing I didn't buy in advance this time because I really think I would have guessed wrong!

The doc said everything else looked great. The only negative thing about the appointment...he said we have to take the paci away!! Ugh! I am SO dreading this! I honestly think she's more attached to it now than she was 3 months ago. I wish I'd taken it away from her then, but after her hospital stay & everything she had just been through I decided to let her keep it. Any suggestions on how to do this? The doc tried to make it sound easy...just let her have it for naps & night time & then slowly take it away. Easy for you to say, Doctor Man!! Hadley has never been the kind of baby that just sucks on a paci all day long. She really only takes it when she's really tired or going to sleep....and in her car seat. I've heard the "cut the end of the paci" trick, but I honestly think she's smarter than that. I don't think she's going down without a fight on this one!! Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Here is a picture of Jeremy & Hadley on his "real" 30th birthday! Notice how much weight he's lost?! LOTS of inches, y'all! I'm so proud of him! He gets up in the morning at 5am now and goes to the gym. Maybe he can motivate me a little bit too! :)

Wow! She is going to be tall!! I can't believe he said to give up the paci at 15 months! Wow! We quit Claire cold turkey...but she was 2 before we took it away. If we had tried to cut the tip of the paci, Claire would have just found another one! I found her pacis hidden all over the house for months after we took them away! Good luck!

You and Jeremy both look great!! Y'all have really lost weight...any magic secret besides hitting the gym?! :)

I "painted" Thomas' with the stuff that is supposed make you stop biting your fingernails. It tastes awful. He wanted it but knew it tasted bad. He would cry in the truck for it but it didn't take long for him to stop. Good Luck!

So far the paci thing has gone well for us. Two nights now and it hasn't been bad. Nap time is a different story though. I've decided I'm going to wait a week or two before I try to take it away for naps. Still sticking with bedtime and I have one for emergency purposes in the car! haha!

I wish I had a miracle for taking away the paci! We took Emily Grace's away and she stuck her thumb in...Harris would still take one today, if we would get it out of the top of the cabinet where we hid it!!!!
