Great Ending to a BAD day!!!

DiAnna Paulk Photography has done it again!!! She has captured my precious angel...my pride & joy!! Thank you so much for these amazing images, Mrs. DiAnna! This was the perfect ending to a not so wonderful day! I can't wait to see all of the others!! :)

Monday we went to see Dr. Knox. He said (at that time) one of her ears was clear. I was very hopeful, but even then, a part of me just knew this story wasn't going to have a good ending. Today, we went back to Dr. Knox. He looked at her for literally 5 seconds and said that her ears had gotten worse since Monday and that she needed to be put in the hospital so they could give her the IV medication. We have an appointment with Dr. Morrison (our pediatrician) in the morning at 9:00am (why?? great question! someone please tell me why this is necessary!). I must say that I'm a little frustrated that this whole process has been drawn out. I feel like some sort of decision should have been made a lot earlier! If we had done the hospital route last Thursday, my sweet baby would be well & out of the hospital by now!!!

I'm not really sure what is going to happen tomorrow. I don't know if we'll be admitted to the hospital tomorrow or if there will be more waiting. I've been getting ready though...been to Target...doing laundry...trying to pack...making sure that I have the laptop...camera...video camera...and hoping I'm not forgetting something! Anyway, when we are admitted, we will be there for FIVE days!!! It should be a very interesting experience. I feel so blessed that we don't have to do this all the time. Thank you LORD for this trial. Through this all...I'm resting in the LORD. HE is the healer of all. I'm trusting & resting in HIM. I'm continuing to COUNT IT ALL JOY!!!!!!

Bonnie- your child is gorgeous. And SO photogenic!!I dont know how I got so far behind, but Im just catching up on all of the ear issues- Im just tearing up reading everything. I am SO SORRY! I just hate that sweet one has to be in the hospital like that.I (we) have been there (sort of) and hospitals are no fun, but let the constant supervision be a source of peace for you! You have a wonderful attitude and I will be praying for all three of you this week!! Please keep us updated via the blog world-let me know if there are specifics I can pray for. carolinemeriwether@hotmail.com

Bonnie,
I can't imagine how heartbreaking this is for you guys. But your outlook is just incredible...very admirable!! Keep your head up. God's with you every step!! On a different note, the pictures are just gorgeous!! She always does such an amazing job. It couldn't be too hard with such a beautiful little girl to photograph:) She's starting to look grown up. What an angel!! I'll be praying for all of you. Keep us posted.

Oh my goodness. The pictures are so beautiful! Wow!

Trials are certaintly no fun, but they do make us stonger. I am praying for y'all. I have found through working in the Mental Health field that when it takes forever to get something done to help a patient, it is because of insurance. They really like to give clients the run around and I imagine it will only get worse if the health care bill is passed. I pray that Hadley gets the medicine she needs to be 100% healed.

We'll be in town next week. If y'all are back to your normal routine we'd love to visit.

Bonnie your little girl is precious. I will make one suggestion you might want to pack some snacks for you. We were admitted to the hospital with my little guy when he was 4 months old with RSV. We were at Baptist South with nothing around us to eat besides the Chappy's downstairs and it did get a little pricy eating down there even for the day and half we were there.

Bonnie - How gorgeous are those pictures of Hadley! She is so beautiful, and those memories will be so amazing to have! I'm so so sorry that the ears are still having trouble. I know it must be so hard to see her suffer, but you are such a wonderful mom, and give so much to her! We will keep praying everyday for the Great Physician to heal sweet Hadley! Until then, we are praying for patience, strength, and joy for you guys. Love ya'll!
