March 23, 2011 Hadley had her FIRST haircut!! 10 days before she'll be TWO! She had so much hair! I just wanted to get it trimmed up and shaped so it would grow better. We'd been talking about the "BIG cut" to Hadley for days. I was trying to prepare her because I was terrified of how she might react to it...I've seen others on their first cuts, so maybe you could say that I was the one that was a little terrified! :) But as you can see, Hadley was ALL smiles!!
She looks a little sleepy in this picture! Amber, her stylist, kept telling her to be really still, and I think she did an awesome job!

She was really pretty excited about it, and she loved the lollipop they gave her!

This is the best family picture we could get, at the very end. I'm posing so strange, but I was trying to be still & smile while everyone on the other side was yelling for Hadley's attention so she would smile.
It was a fabulous day. Her sweet little locks are already tucked away in her baby book for safe keeping!
So, as I mentioned, Hadley will be two in a few days! I can't believe it. We are in full party planning mode! We only invited family and our Sunday School class. We had to "draw the line" somewhere, so if you didn't get an invitation, I PROMISE it's not because we don't love you...we do!! I've only received one "no" RSVP, so I guess lots of people are coming! I know Hadley will be so excited to see all of her friends!! I'm excited about posting about her birthday soon.
We love you all, and I'm sorry I've been MIA. School ends for me on May 10, and I'm pretty sure I'll feel like I new woman after that! :)

Sweet girl! I dread the day I have to cut AL's hair... but Hadley did great! Ya'll are precious, and she'll be getting her bday gift from the Stanfords for sure! Love you guys!
