Well, my sweet girl is 20 months old. I've found myself going through old pictures from last year, and it is incredible how much Hadley has changed in one short year.
This morning, Hadley got into my makeup...I only found her with eyeliner on her face! This little one can reach ANYTHING she wants!
So I will remember, here is a short list of things you're up to these days...
- You're going to sleep around 7 or 7:30 and you'll sleep until 6:15-7:30. I'm not sure why the time varies so much day to day.
- You LOVE bath time. One night, I tried to put you in bed without a bath (because it was so late and I was exhausted) and when I put you in your crib you kept asking "bath, bath, bath."
- You LOVE LOVE LOVE to color. "Lollor" is what you call it. You'll color on the floor, the table, the chairs, and anything else you're not supposed to color on. But, you do also like to color on paper.
- Cleaning is still a favorite. I guess children really do mimic what their parents do AND say...
- Speaking of what children say...apparently I tell Hadley "Okay" or "K" a lot. For example, "Hadley, we're going to have a snack and get ready to go, okay?" Then Hadley will run around saying "K, K, K, K." She gets really excited about it.
- The other day we went with Aunt Sarah & Ansley & Jack to the indoor pool at the Y, and you freaked out! You were SO excited!! It makes me ready for summer all over again!
- You are feeding yourself SO well with a spoon & a fork. If I try to help you, you get really upset and want to do it on your own. Sometimes this leads to a second bath when you eat oatmeal for breakfast in the morning.
- wearing size 4 diaper and almost at 2ts. You're so tall!!
- you love to carry bags around with you everywhere and tell people "bye bye." You get really upset when you speak to someone while we're out (to the grocery store or where ever we've gone) and they don't acknowledge you.
- You love to see people in Hats. And, you'll repeat it over and over again, "Hat, hat, hat, hat" until I acknowledge that you've seen someone in a hat.
- You adore your babies. You're such a good mommy to all of them.
