and I will be FIVE months old in five days!! Can you believe it??! Since my mommy hasn't done a very good job at posting, I thought I would write a post. I wanted to write down a few things so I would remember them one day. Here it goes...
1. I still LOVE my paci. I also love to suck my thumb and fingers, but I like to reach out and grab everything I see, so sometimes I get frustrated when my thumb or fingers come out of my mouth.
2. My lovey goes everywhere I do. I take naps with it during the day, but my mommy won't let me sleep with it at night. She thinks I might hold it too close to my face and won't be able to breathe.
3. I love to go shopping! I even let my mommy try all kinds of clothes on me...pretty much whenever she wants to.
4. My favorite kind of diaper is pampers. I'm wearing a size two. At night, I sleep in pampers baby dry, and I wear a size 3...so I won't tee-tee on myself while I'm sleeping!
5. I love it when my mommy sings to me. Well, now that I think about it, I love listening to all kinds of music. It certainly has a way of calming me down.
6. I'm still nursing. I LOVE it. Now that I think about it, I haven't even had any food yet. My mommy gave me cereal once, but we decided it was more trouble than it was worth. What can I say???! I just love to nurse! I eat about every 4 hours. :)
7. I love to sleep! I've been sleeping for about 12 hours at night for a long time now. A girl needs her beauty sleep!!
8. Speaking of sleep...I take good naps in the daytime too. Sometimes I don't sleep very long, but I never cry before my mommy puts me down.
9. A lot of times, I'll wake up and just play in my crib. It's fun, and I really like to explore.
10. I've also learned how to turn on my Fisher Price soother in my crib ALL by myself! Aren't you proud of me? I'm so smart.
11. I really LOVE to watch TV. My mommy doesn't let me very much because she thinks it's bad to watch too much TV. We usually watch the Today Show in the morning while my daddy gets ready for work, and I have my breakfast. It's fun! :)
12. I can really kick and splash in the swimming pool! My grandmommy taught me how. I also like to do this at night when daddy is giving me my bath. It gets all over the kitchen floor. :) Mommy and daddy think it's cute right now, but I'm thinking that one day soon they might not think it's so cute.
13. My mommy weighed me on the scale the other day and I already weigh 16 pounds. Can you believe it! I might need to put myself on a diet...just kidding! I love my milk way too much!
14. I'm wearing a size 6 months, but sometimes I can wear a 9 months. It's fun because this means I get all new clothes!! Yippy!
15. Guess what else??!! I can do a tripod. This is where I sit all by myself and use my hands to support me. I've been doing this since the very end of July. I'm sure pretty soon I won't even need my hands anymore!
16. I wear my sweet little pearl bracelet and bow everyday...every southern girl shouldn't leave the house without them!!
17. I love to laugh!!
18. My mommy just bought me a jumperoo, and it's so much fun! It's like a whole new world...standing up all by myself. Well I think I'm doing it by myself...right mommy??? ;)
19. My finger nails grow so fast!! My mommy constantly has to clip them because if she doesn't I'll scratch my face while I sleep. Does everyone else have finger nails that grow as fast as mine??
20. I love to roll all over the place. I do it so quickly my mommy has to look twice sometimes. I do this so she'll stay on her toes!
21. I really love to explore. I look at things and try to figure them out by myself.
22. I still love my bouncy seat. Yes, I'm WAY too long for it, but I really like the vibrations!
23. Me and the Bumbo seat have a love hate relationship...My mommy wants me to love it, but I really hate it.
24. When I get really tired, I start grabbing anything and everything I can get my hands on...which is where my lovey comes into play!
25. I get so excited when my daddy comes home!! I smile and coo at him. Pretty soon I'm going to say his name...daddy, and everyone is going to be so excited!
26. I never met a ceiling fan I didn't like! I LOVE to watch those things. And...I really like to look at the big ceiling lights at Costco too!
27. Costco is fun too because if I scream no one can really hear me because the store is so big.
28. My granddaddy calls me "sniggle fritz." :)
29. My mommy has started calling me Monkey. My daddy wonders why but it's because I'm here there and everywhere.
30. I've already been to 2 weddings and a funeral.
31. I went to the beach when I was two months old...I really, really liked it, and I wonder when I'll get to go back.
32. Sometimes I wonder if my mommy is going to forget my name because she monograms and puts my name on EVERYTHING! I really like it though...a monogram is another thing every southern girl needs for her things. :)
33. Speaking of names, I know mine!! If you call my name, I'll stop and look at you. :)
34. The car seat and I are getting along a lot better these days!
35. I look SO cute my my footed pajamas. Kissy Kissy are my favorite PJ's! They are so soft!
36. Did I mention that I LOVE to be outside??!
Anyway...that's all for now. I will resume the list later!

I hope you & my Mary Ellen will be good friends! It seems like there's a big age difference between y'all, but it won't seem that way in a couple of years. I think you girls will be in the same grade!
1 & 2. MER still uses her paci & holds her lovey during naps. I don't know when I'm going to take them away.
6. I'm about to start weaning MER. I never thought I'd miss it, but now I think I will!
7. Good girl. Way to sleep! I KNOW your mommy loves her beauty sleep, too!.
19. MER's fingernails used to grow SO quickly. I think I was trimming them twice a week at one point. They've slowed down somewhat.
YAY Hadley! Everly and I loved your post. You're a great blogger! Everly loves Kissy Kissy too! You're right, they are so soft!
Don't forget that you love for Mrs Emily to love on you at Sunday School!!!!! :-)
Cute! I'd love to get some sleeping advice from you Hadley. Anne Mmorgan does pretty well sometimes, she's up to 6 hours at night but 12 sounds great!
